スピーキングPart3の「将来」系問題で意識すべきこと
スピーキングがあまり得意でない方はまず、質問内容の主語や動詞をそのまま使うことをオススメします。慣れている方は自分の英語で返しましょう。
例えば、
Will large shopping malls continue to be popular, despite the growth of internet shopping?
Yes, I think large shopping malls will continue to be popular because…（そのまま返す場合）
Yes, I’m sure it will still continue to attract many people because…（上級者向け）
Do you think the traditional classroom will disappear in the future?
Yes, I think the traditional classroom will disappear in the future because…（そのまま返す場合）
Yes, I definitely believe it will be less common in the future because…（上級者向け）

スピーキングPart3では「インターネット」が鍵
パート3では何かと理由を言わなければならない場面が多いと思いますが、結論はYesでもNoでも、そのあとにbecause…と言って止まってしまうという方は多いのではないでしょうか？
特に未来に関する質問をされた時にはなにかと「インターネット」や「テクノロジー」に話を絡めると理由が見つかりやすいことが多いです。
例えば、
Will electric books ever completely replace printed books in the future?（IELTS公式問題集14 Test1）
Yes, I believe so. The development of technology is unstoppable and definitely plays a role in developing electric books and it will keep growing in the future.
Do you think homes will look different in the future?（IELTS公式問題集14 Test2）
I’m not 100% sure, but a house itself will definitely start to be connected with the Internet. The internet is accessible only from a computer or smartphone in this era, but I guess that general things around us including a house will have an online feature to connect to the Internet.
「科学技術」はどんな話にも絡めやすくて、便利だね
IETLSのスピーキング対策はネタの仕込みが大事
IELTSのスピーキングでは、答え方を模索したりすることはもちろん大事ですが、一番のベースとなるのはスピーキングのベースの力とアイデアに対するネタの仕込みが大事です。
自分の好きな本や歌、尊敬する人、子供の頃の友達、などなどトピックは多岐に渡りますが、一度は触れたことがあるという状況を作ることがとても大切です。
